本剧以偏远山镇为背景，讲述了以捕兽为生的裴元等人围绕蟒蛇和反派势力抗争的故事。主人公裴元和村民们不甘于被压迫而做出抗争，在裴元失手杀掉了作恶的伙长之后，为保护村民不得不直面内心的恐惧，勇敢地与恶势力作抗争。。When a casino owning dog named Charlie is murdered by his rival Carface, he finds himself in Heaven basically by default since all dogs go to heaven. However, since he wants to get back at his killer, he cons his way back to the living with the warning that doing that damns him to Hell. Once back, he teams with his old partner, Itchy to prep his retaliation. He also stumbles on to an orphan girl who can talk to the animals, thus allowing him to get the inside info on the races to ensure his wins。
